We Are Rockstars! (WAR!) is the name of the new event presented by Ibiza Rocks at their hotels in Ibiza and Mallorca. Starting June 8th, at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel we’ll be able to enjoy amazing acts in the main stage of Ibiza Rocks!!

After a very succesfull 2011 with their weekly party Ibiza Rocks, this year they introduce a second one. There’s still many names to me announced in their summer line-up, but there’s already confirmed four back to back between Mark Ronson and Zane Lowe during the summer. Also confirmed, Example and dj wire, Skream & Benga, Major Lazer and Magnetic Man, including Doorly as resident.

The season finale will we September 21st, with an amazing electronic actuation!

Until the 1st of March, the “>votations of the International Dance Music Awards are open. One of the most important awards in the music industry, celebrating this year the 27th edition at the Winter Music Conference at Miami.

In the ‘Best Global Club’ category, we find four of the best clubs of Ibiza nominated to the prize, Amnesia, Pacha, Privilege and Space, together with Ministry of Sound and Fabric (London), Zouk (Singapore) and Guvernment (Toronto). Since the prize started to be given in the 2005 edition, Amnesia, Space nad Pacha have been nominated every year, and this will be the second nomination for Privilege, the biggest club in the world. In these awards, the hegemony of the ibicencan clubs is indisputable, with four awards for Amnesia (2007, 2008, 2009 & 2011) and two awards for Space (2005 & 2006). The only club that has been able to beat them has been Ministry of Sound, in 2010.

In the category of ‘Best Global DJ’, we find many big names connected to Ibiza’s nights, like Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz, both resident DJs at Space; Tiesto, whom we’ve been able to enjoy during four years at Privilege or David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia, both with their own parties at Pacha’s 2011 season.

This year one of the major figures can be Avicii. After being nominated ‘Best Break-Through DJ’ in 2011, in this edition he is nominated in 7 categories, like the ‘Best Electro/Tech House Track’ for his world famous Level, ‘Best European DJ’ and ‘Best Global DJ’.

We’ll know the winners on the 22nd of March, but don’t forget to vote!

Even though there’s a few months until summer, Ibiza clubs are preparing the new season, and Es Paradis is working very hard these weeks.

If recently they annonced DJ Oliver at the Opening Party of the 18th of May, these last days Es Paradis has been confirming dates of their main parties of 2012, like the Water Party, HedKandi or the return of TwiceasNice.

The biggest party of the San Antonio club, the world famous Water Party, will be back this summer starting Friday May 25th, to bring us back one of the best nights of Ibiza. It’s an incredible feeling to be dancing to the best music, and then the water invades the main stage, turning the club into an improvised pool. If you’ve never been, don’t miss it!

Another of the most popular parties, HedKandi, will be back every Saturday starting on June 2nd. The glamorous international brand will be for the third summer at Es Paradis, this year celebrating a ‘decade of decadence’, 10 years at Ibiza, with world class DJs, exquisite dancers, breathtaking aerial artists and acrobats and many surprises!

And recently, another of the rumors of these weeks was confirmed. After 5 years at the rival club, Eden, the party TwiceasNice is back to Es Paradis, where it all began in 1996. One of the most important urban parties in the world, back on Thursday June 7th!

The last weekend of May has been the date chosen by Ushuaia to start the 2012 season! And for the comeback, what better, nothing better than a weekend of party and action! Saturday May 26th with all the Cadenza troop, leaded by Luciano, and to finish off the weekend, Fatboy Slim on Sunday May the 27th.

Luciano, the swiss-chilean DJ and producer, is one of the most important international artists of electronic music and a regular of ibicencan nights. He has performed at the most important clubs and festivals of the world, and we’ll be able to enjoy his return to Ushuaia on May 26th to open an incredible year!

And just one day after, May 27th, Fatboy Slim will take control of Ushuaia in one of the best performances of the summer. Famous for amazing shows like projecting laser beams over the Great Wall of China or for performing for over 5 milion fans in the Carnival of Salvador de Bahia, this will sure be an incredible show!

We have a new opening date for this season confirmed and the 2012 opening calendar seems to be getting clearer!

The club Eden has confirmed through their social networks that they’ll be opening on Friday June the 1st, in one of the most expected openings in San Antonio.

There’s also been a recent confirmation that Judge Jules will continue another year in charge of his weekly party, Judgment Sundays, even though he will be leaving his radio show at BBC Radio 1 to spend some time working as a lawyer. Good news for Eden, that keep their most famous DJ for another year.
