The life of Tim Bergling is a big success story in the last couple of years. Avicii became one of the sensations of 2011 with his track Levels, and in only a few years he’s become one of the most important DJs in the world scene.
We have enjoyed him at Space and Pacha, and since 2012 he hosts his own residency on Sunday’s at Ushuaïa, probably one of the most popular parties of Ibiza. Specialized in house, he emerged in 2008, only 18 years old, after winning a contest organized by Pete Tong, with his track Manman. Since then, his fame has gone sky-high, and he’s collaborated with DJs like Tiësto or Sebastian Ingrosso. Avicii's most popular hit is 'Levels' but he’s also produced 'Wake me Up' and 'Hey Brother', to name a few.
Avicii has already obtained some of the most important awards in the dance music industry. In the 2011 International Dance Music Awards he was awarded as ‘Best Break-Through Artist (Solo)’, in 2012 he won the ‘Best European DJ’ award, in 2013 the ‘Best Artist (Solo)’ award and in 2014 the ‘Best EDM/Pop DJ’. In the DJMag ranking he entered directly at number 39 in 2010, in 2011 he rise to number 6 and since 2012 he’s been placed in the Top 3.
