Ushuaïa Tower hosted last Friday 20th of May the edition of Muchoticket Awards 2016, a ceremony thought to highlight the backstage job of creating, producing and promoting the events part of the musical industry in Ibiza.
Muchoticket Awards 2016, presented by the journalist Mawi Durán, started at 9pm with the concert of the band Ornamento y Delito that brought a powerful show.
Afterwards, the ceremony took place handing off the awards in the fifteenth different categories whose nominees were chosen by a selection of experts in the matter. At last, was the audience who decided the winner in each categories through a Facebook APP the previous days of the event.
This year, the absolute winners were Ushuaia and Pacha , with 4 and 3 awards respectively. The open air club in Playa d’en Bossa received “Best Social Media Management”, “Best Marketing Campaign”, “Best party” for Avicii and, as last year, again the “Best Bilboard” for ANTS.
On the other hand, Pacha Ibiza was awarded as “Best Internacional Promotion of Ibiza”, “Best Website” and, like in 2015, “Best VIP Management”.
“Best Pasacalle” was, one more year, for the iconic Flower Power.
According to the audience the best revelation promoter was Children of the 80s for the nostalgic Sunday evenings at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. Another open air party, Ibiza Rocks Hotel, received the best consolidated career promoter, after 10 years bringing the most memorable live concerts to San Antonio.
The local festival Sueños de Libertad that brings the best Spanish and indie music to Ibiza, won the award to the best event out of the traditional Ibiza nightlife.
Finally, the Muchoticket Special Award was for Made in Italy Ibiza for its exceptional work on Flower Power Merchandising design.
The event finished after the dj set of the catalan duo Mañaneo djs, who took care of the show and made the night even more special.
